ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬ!: Kannada Serial Title Songs. Danda Pindagalu was a Kannada teleserial that was telecasted on Udaya TV. It was directed by Phani Ramachandra. The serial portrayed the struggle of a middle class family and it featured unemployed youths in a particular section of the society.

Mayamruga, Manvantara, Mukta and Garva definitely had all the above qualities and hence drew viewers in hordes, not just to their idiot boxes but also to the many 'samvada' programs that T.N.Seetharam hosted. (Garva was directed by Prakash Belawadi; I had missed out most of the initial episodes of Garva and never got around to seeing the entire serial. But I know it was hugely popular).
